HSHC
Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities (HSHC) was established in 1994 to encourage the development of new, comprehensive, full-time, school-based primary care programs that serve high risk children. It is the first Federal program to support the creation of school-based health centers. The BPHC continues to support school-based health centers as a significant vehicle to accomplish the BPHC’s mission of Improving and Expanding Access to Health Care for all Americans Nationwide. http://www.bphc.hrsa.gov/HSHC/


DIHS
The Division of Immigration Health Service (DIHS) provides a nationwide clinical operations function within the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) responding to specifications of inter-service agreements with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide or arrange health care services for undocumented migrants detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). http://www.inshealth.org/


Migrant Health
The Federal Migrant Health Program provides staff support to the National Advisory Council on Migrant Health. Hawaiian Health Care

NELRP
Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program(NELRP) is a competitive program that repays 60 percent of the qualifying loan balance of registered nurses selected for funding in exchange for 2 years of service at a critical shortage facility. ODEAR
The Office of Data, Evaluation, Analysis, and Research (ODEAR) provides data analysis and research findings that are the foundation for actions to assure health care access, to improve health status, and to eliminate disparities for medically underserved and vulnerable populations. http://www.ask.hrsa.gov/orgdetail.cfm?OrgID=1760


OPA
Office of Pharmacy Affairs(OPA) emphasizes the importance of comprehensive pharmacy services being an integral part of primary health care. Comprehensive pharmacy services include patient access to affordable pharmaceuticals, application of "best practices" and efficient pharmacy management and the application of systems that improve patient outcomes through safe and effective medication use. http://www.hrsa.gov/opa/


OSNP
Office of State and National Partnerships (OSNP) supports State Primary Care Associations (PCAs), State Primary Care Offices (PCOs), and national partners to increase access to preventive and primary health care services and to improve the health status of underserved and vulnerable populations in order to reach 100% access and eliminate health disparities. http://www.ask.hrsa.gov/orgdetail.cfm?OrgID=1758


Homeless Children’s Program
The Homeless Children’s Program supports innovative programs for the delivery of outreach, health services, and referral for homeless children and children at imminent risk of homelessness. The needs of homeless children and at-risk children are addressed through prevention, assessment of primary care needs, and provision of comprehensive primary care services. Shortage Designation
The Shortage Designation Branch in the HRSA Bureau of Health Professions National Center for Health Workforce Analysis develops shortage designation criteria and uses them to decide whether or not a geographic area or population group is a Health Professional Shortage Area or a Medically Underserved Area or Population. http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/shortage/
