Loan Repayment Program
Faculty Loan Repayment Program provides a financial incentive for degree-trained health professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue academic careers. Individuals selected agree to serve on the faculty of an accredited health professions college or university for a minimum of two years. In return, the Federal government agrees to pay, for each year of faculty service, up to $20,000 of the outstanding principal and interest on the participant's educational loans. http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/dsa/flrp/


Student Loans
The Health Professions Student Loan program provides long-term, low interest rate loans to full-time, financially needy students to pursue a degree in dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, podiatric medicine, or veterinary medicine. http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/dsa/hpsl.htm


LDS

NSL
The Nursing Student Loan(NSL) program provides long-term, low-interest rate loans to full-time and half-time financially needy students pursuing a course of study leading to a diploma, associate, baccalaureate or graduate degree in nursing.Participating schools are responsible for selecting loan recipients and for determining the amount of assistance a student requires. http://bhpr.hrsa.gov/dsa/pages/nu.htm


PCL
The Primary Care Loan (PCL) program is a low cost federal loan program for medical students committed to primary health care practice. The interest rate is 5 percent and begins to accrue following a one year grace period after you cease to be a full-time student. When compared to other federal student loans and private loans, the PCL provides significant savings. Black Lung Clinics
The goal of the Black Lung Clinics Program is to provide services to minimize the effects of respiratory impairments in coal miners and others with occupational related respiratory disease. The program provides funding to public and private non-profit entities for the operation of clinics that provide diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of active and retired coal miners with respiratory and pulmonary impairments. http://bphc.hrsa.gov/blacklung/default.htm

CCA
The Center for Communities in Actions mission is to assist communities to effectively deploy local, state, and federal assets to achieve 100% access to primary care and 0 health status disparities. FPI

HCH
